(Pineto-Silvi, 19 Nov 13) Torre Cerrano Marine Protected Area will be the heart of the international
debate concerning the future of the Mediterranean Sea and of the Adriatic Sea
in particular, with a series of international meetings that will be held on
the 3rd and 4th June 2014.
Last Friday the usual annual week of works of the MedPan,
namely the international association including all the Mediterranean marine
protected areas, was closed in France, near Marseille, in the Port Croix Marine
Park. (www.medpan.org).
At the same time the first meeting of the IAI-Iniziativa Adriatico Ionica (Adratic
Ionian Initiative) with the stakeholders from the Adriatic Countries took place
in Belgium, exactly in Brussels, after the EU published its Strategy on the
Adriatic Sea and the Ionian Sea (www.aii.org).
