News from the Italian Parks

Thanks to the participation of the administrative as well as legal basis, and to the improvement of the public notices related to the selection of the different professionals and of the advisors necessary for the realization of the project, and thanks to the launch of fruitful relations with the stakeholders, the grasslands project, which will last 5 years, has started.
The actions planned in the first stage have been effectively started, such as the realization of the website, that will be activated on next 18th April, and the implementation of the Actions A3 - Collection and Analysis of the municipal Regulations related to the pasture use and assignment - and C3 "Concertation Activities for the optimization of the pasture management". For this reason the project has already planned a first meeting on next 23rd April between the Local Governments and the Separated Governments for the Goods of Civic Use, who chose to support the project.
The meeting with the institutional stakeholders will in fact represent the start of the participating process that the "grasslands" project wants to continue, also considering the results achieved by the previous community project called Life "Ex-Tra" and by the Park Authority itself within the review of the Regulations about the damages to the zootechnical heritage. The participation activities will therefore become a surplus value of the "Praterie" project, in order to achieve the greatest goals and actions sharing on a local level, and a disclosure of best sustainability practices which can be as more influential as possible.
