"A Taste of Nature" is this year's theme of the European Day of Parks 2016
Federparchi invites all the protected areas, willing to organize some events during the week of the Parks in late May, to candidate themselves and to add their initiatives to the calendar

The European Day of Parks takes place on the 24th of May, and the Europarc Federation proposes again its initiative to commemorate the day in 1909, when the first European Park was founded in Sweden.
In Italy, the 24th of May expands over more days with a rich agenda of meetings, hikes, exhibitions and environmental activities. This year's European Day of Parks 2016 will focus on the theme "A Taste of Nature", meaning by that both a taste of local products and activities in the Park.
