From the car park of Mt. Aman (panoramic road), follow the mountain ridge where you can enjoy the view of Basilica of Superga, and enter the wood following a warm slope with a southern exposure, dominated by English oaks and downy oaks. The itinerary continues downhill until you reach a junction with a flat trail: at first, go right until you reach trail marker no. 4, "il salicone", and then come back and go left.
Here the wetter climate and the cool soil favor the growth of plants like the white poplar, the goat willow, and the Pedunculate oak, Quercus robur, sacred tree for the ancient Celts. At the end of the trail, you will find the beech tree with the gray bark, and then reach the conifers, in the meadow in front of the Panoramic Road.
