In early autumn on the hills of Bleggio the morning sun illuminates rows of white bunches, ready for the grape harvest and to be transformed into a white wine with an austere name: the Kerner. They tell about the millenary wine growing tradition of Trentino and the particular vocation of the valleys surrounding Gruppo del Brenta for the cultivation of this German vine.
The eastern exposure and the cool temperatures of the upper hills give birth to a dry aromatic wine, with a delicate perfume of flowers and a taste recalling a rich spring garden scattered with lavender and jasmine bushes.
The Kerner, produced by Cantina di Toblino, has been included among the products with a Typical Geographical Indication label (I.G.T.) Wines of the Dolomites. It is ideal with light appetizers and dishes based on fish, or you can taste is as an aperitif with your friends.
