The itinerary leaves from the village of Solza, where it is possible to admire the ruins of the medieval castle where Bartolomeo Colleoni was born around the year 1400 from Paolo Colleoni and Riccadonna de' Vavassori from Medolago: he was a military leader and a reference figure for the whole territory of Isola Bergamasca. The town of Solza experienced with Colleoni its greatest splendor and fortune, which were followed by feuds and sacks.
