Audio CD with songs and legends from Apuane.
The content of the CD
was performed for the first time in Ancona, on 11th November 1999
(after exactly one thousand days from an extraordinary event), during
the 4th edition of the fair "Parcoproduce".
The music lessons of the popular songs (tracks with even numbers) are
the most widespread and known in Central Italy. The songs going with
the readings (tracks with odd number) are midifiles performances of
medieval and Reinassance music, specially transcribed. The pieces are:
1 - Alonso Mudarra (16th century), Fantasia; 3 - Anonymous (13th
century), Saltarello; 5 - Giorgio Mainerio (16th century), Schiaruzzula
marazzula; 7 - Diego Ortiz (16th century), Recercada Quinta; 9 - Juan
del Encina (15th-16th century), Soy contento y vos servido; 11 - John
Johnson (16th century), The flat pavin.
