You can cross the path, you will find handrails on both sides. Following the one on the left, you can follow a fallen oak tree along its entire length. On its old trunk, covered with moss in places, you can follow the wood grains.
Dead wood in the forest plays a very important role: fallen or broken trunks and piles of branches are home to a myriad of living creatures. Fungi, insects, and small mammals find food and shelter there and enrich the forest's biodiversity of the forest.
