Parco Archeologico Storico Naturale delle Chiese Rupestri del Materano

This book aims at being not only expression of a scientific research, but above all a practical and easy tool both for experts in the field and for curious visitors. Each species is illustrated with original color images of the insect in its natural environment or on its favorite plant, as well as with a description of the adult, in order to make it easy to recognize it. The volume also includes short biology and ethology notes and provides information on the species protected by the Directive 92/43/CEE "Habitat", because considered rare or endangered.
