Parco del Delta del Po

(Comacchio, 02 Jul 12) Some bumps realized thanks to the Life Project in the SCI and SPA "Valli di Comacchio" have been already occupied by the target species. The bumps realization ended in spring, and the new availability of suitable surfaces allowed 6 new species to settle there: Mediterranean Gull, Slender-billed Gull, Common Tern, Sandwich Tern, Little Tern, Pied Avocet. A monitoring is underway to verify the situation of these nesting birds and their reproductive success.
