3. Bike & Boat from the Abbey to the mouth of the Po river in Volano

On saturdays and days before holidays
Visit to the Pomposa Abbey. Then, departure by bike up to the Canneviè Oasis, near the Chiavica dell'Agrifoglio (8.6 km) and opportunity to have lunch in the area nearby. At 2.30 pm boarding to start sailing through the rushes of the Po river's mouth in Volano (see Un Viaggio nel Silenzio della Foce). From 4.30 pm return by bike to the Pomposa Abbey along the Po river in Volano (7.7 km). Near the route there are holiday farms and restaurants with their local, typical products.

On Sundays and holidays
Hike by bike with departure from the Pomposa Abbey and, passing near the Chiavica dell'Agrifoglio, arrival to the Canneviè Oasis (8.6 km) within 10.45 am. From here, boarding at 11.00 am to sail through the rushes of the Po river's mouth in Volano (see Un Viaggio nel Silenzio della Foce). Return at 1.00 pm.
After the lunch pause at the area near the Oasis, return by bike along the Po river in Volano (7.7 km) to visit the ancient Benedictine monastery in Pomposa. Near the route there are holiday farms and restaurants with their local products.
