Parco del Delta del Po

The Cervia saltworks are the southernmost point of Delta Po Regional Park. Their environment is highly interesting from a natural and landscape standpoint, and was thus included among the Wetlands of National Importance according to the Ramsar Convention; in 1979 it became a State Nature Reserve. The Saltworks cover 827 hectares and are intersected by a tight network of canals.
