It is the publication of a degree thesis in linguistics for the Academic Year 1949-50; the work considers the place names of the valley bottom which have been nowadays forgotten because of the abandonment of the agricultural activity. The edition is enriched by period images taken from the archives and stimulating the comparison with the current landscape.
