The itinerary has been named after the grassy ridge along a stretch of which hikers can admire a double and spectacular panorama: on the one side, Upper Tagliamento Valley and Alpi Carniche, on the other side the deep Val Settimana and the imposing dolomitic slabs of Caserine-Cornagèt group.
