The itinerary, also known as "Percorso della Memoria" ("Memorial Trail"), focuses on the Altino archaeological area hosting the so-called "Città Sepolta" (meaning "buried city"), which was established before Venice and disappeared over the centuries.
In the Archaeological Museum it is possible to see the findings resulted from the excavation campaigns that lasted for over ten years in this area.
