From the unsurfaced road that connects Baschi to Montecchio, in locality I Poggi take the little field road that runs a rectilinear stretch to the south-west in an elevated and panoramic position on the badlands, which are characteristic of the zone. Pass some ruins on the right and at a downward curve you will find two paths on the left. Take the one on the right, descending among the olive trees, and reach the archaeological area of the Necropolis of the glen of San Lorenzo, which it is possible to visit using the trail network of the Archaeological Park. From the valley bottom, go back up the plateau and intercept, at a building, a silvopastoral road: proceeding among the fields and along the edge of a wood on the right, keeping to the left at the next fork, this road meets the tarmac road coming from Montecchio at a curve. Follow on the right the downhill tarmac road until the intersection with indications for Carnano. Take an uphill left towards Carnano, pass the inhabited centre and you will arrive at the intersection with the road connecting Montecchio to Tenaglie. Once there, take a right in the direction of Tenaglie and you will reach it in a few minutes. From Tenaglie follow the indication for the characteristic little church of San Rocco and leave it on your left as you exit the inhabited centre. When you reach the last houses, take Via della Fratta by going left at the fork and, ignoring the several side streets which you meet, you will get to C. Palanca (397 m. amsl) near the Monastery of S. Andrea.
