Lake Santo

At the foot of the steep northeastern slope of Mount Giovo, Lake Santo, with a perimeter of 1.5 km and a depth of about 20 mt., is the largest of the Frignano Park and has glacial origins, like many others in the area. Powered by cold springs, it is surrounded on the eastern shore by beech trees being converted to the high stem, while on the other side there are a number of shelters near which fishing is allowed.
