1979-2009: Migliarino-San Rossore-Massaciuccoli Park is thirty years old. And the journal Locus has chosen to dedicate to this occasion a special issue where the concept of park as protected area has been included; the history of Migliarino-San Rossore-Massaciuccoli Park, its natural and architectural features, its products, its agricultural and zootechnical activities. In other words, it provides thorough information to restore the memory of the establishment of the park that has "saved" lands and territory from the building speculation and unrestrained overbuilding.
