Lambrusco DOC includes a few Municipalities in the southern area of the Province of Mantua. The variety of Lambrusco cultivated here is called Viadanese, and can be combined with a small percentage of Ancellotta and Fortana. It is possible to obtain dry or sweet wines with an acceptable alcohol content (minimum 10.5°, not little for Lambrusco), with fruity fragrances, low acidity, and a rather good persistence.
