First issue of the series "I Quaderni del Parco del Mincio", completed by drawings, it offers a description of the species of aquatic flora present in the territory of Mincio Park.
The first volume of the series "I Quaderni del Parco" published by Mincio Park deals about the aquatic species. The publication, having informative and didactic aims, can be easily understood and used by the visitors of the Park, and becomes a useful instrument for improving the knowledge of nature. The structure of the volume, a 64-page book, size 15x21, includes descriptive cards completed by illustrated tables in color. There are 22 described species (from the well-known lotus to the less common 'salvinia' and 'azolla') present in the wetlands of the Park: ponds, shores, natural reserves of the Valleys of the Mincio and of the Vallazza. The publication is completed by a glossary and it opens with a detailed description of the general features of the hygrophites.
