This section of the Park, representing the south-eastern border of Lucretili Mountains, is characterized by a gentle morphology. A balcony facing Aniene Valley, its tributary stream Licenza, and the group of Ruffi-Prenestini Mountains in an environment dominated by forest formations alternating with coppice woodlands, bushy pastures, and pastures. In this rather uniform landscape, two small lakes appear unexpectedly: they represent one of the most interesting features of the whole protected area.
