From Cerreto Pass 1,253m, take trail 00 leaving from the restaurant Passo del Cerreto, on the western side of SS 63. Cross the garden of the restaurant and take the trail developing on the northern slope of Colle Ospedalaccio, called in the past Mt. Rapinale. You will walk among well-visible dolines and relative gypsum outcrops. Some excavations are the result of the works carried out by the German army in 1944-'45 to strengthen the rear of the Gothic Line.
Almost entirely developing on the mountainside, you will reach again the ridge and the large pastures of Ospedalaccio Pass 1,280m, across which you will reach a forest road (0.30).
