From the car park of Lagoni Mountain Hut 1,341m follow the trail developing around the western shore of Lago Inferiore (on the right, looking at the lake), trail marker 711. Beyond a fishing hut, start climbing across the high-trunk beech wood, sighting the colors of the lake among the trunks. A steeper uphill trail leads us along a series of smooth rocks often inviting us to look at the lakes on the left and to stop on their surface shaped by the ice and getting pleasantly warm under the sun.
