Islands and holms forming the Tuscan Archipelago are a wonderful mosaic of
landscapes. The main islands are seven: Gorgona, Capraia, Elba,
Pianosa, Montecristo, Giglio, Giannutri; each of them has its extremely
diversified geological history.
The National Park includes all the
islands of the Archipelago, covering their whole area (Gorgona,
Pianosa, Montecristo, and Giannutri) or part of it (Capraia, Elba, and
Giglio).
