(Manarola - Sede-, 20 Nov 17) Last Saturday, the experts of the Park's Environmental Education Centre, with the attendance of Cinque Terre National Park acting president Vincenzo Resasco and director Patrizio Scarpellini, awarded the diplomas to the young aspiring Marine Biologists who successfully participated (many of them for the fourth year in a row) in the scientific snorkelling courses at Cinque Terre National Park.
EEC experts Stefano Amoroso, Filippo Bordoni and Carlotta Filippo, thanks to an innovative formula conceived to let kids approach the marine ecosystem and its biology, have followed over 100 children, boys, and girls in the framework of 10 courses held during the summer.
This year, a large group of students from La Spezia's Scientific High School have helped the EEC's expert submarine biologists in leading the multi-level SEATREK courses, thus accomplishing part of their work-study programme.
During the diploma ceremony, parents had the chance to ask questions to the EEC experts to better know SEATREK, while pictures taken during the courses (and those taken by the students themselves during scientific surveying) were being projected.
A party closed the event, together with an invitation to the summer 2018 courses.
