(Sede Parco Nazionale delle Cinque Terre, 23 Oct 21) The stretch of the Verde Azzurro Vernazza-Monterosso path is now accessible again. This follows the reconstruction of a large portion of the dry-stone wall (about 8 meters), collapsed on the left bank of Rio Gaggià, on which the hiking trail runs.
This work, carried out by the Consorzio Ati 5 Terre, was necessary after the wall collapsing during the weather warning of 4 and 5 October. More than 2.4 tonnes of stone were used to perform the operations.
We recommend to follow the real time updates on the Park path network accessibility both on the Authority's portal and on the web app, at mappe.parconazionale5terre.it
