It is an itinerary leading to discover the traces left by man and the works shaping the landscape. A landscape shaped by man over the centuries, and now back in the hands of nature.
There are several evidences of the rural world: ruins, stone walls, and votive poles, mute traces which have lost their function. At the beginning of this Nature Trail we will find a beautiful exception, represented by Mengozzi Mill which, belonging to Mengozzi family for centuries, has been working until the early 1960s. Recently renovated and now working, it is a lively evidence of the efforts and the conquests of the people who used to live on the difficult and hostile slopes of the Apennines.
The Nature Trail becomes here a cultural trail giving the opportunity to rediscover some elements of the traditional agricultural landscape and the events that have influenced the evolution of the territory.
