The ancient copper forge dates back to 1675 and represents the most fascinating evidence of the age-old tradition of the copper working in the Orco and Soana valleys.
The route follows the stages of the copper processing of the pre-industrial stage, when the forges still needed charcoal and the energy used to make the equipment work was provided by water.
Near the exhibit spaces there is a modern educational lab where, by previous booking, you will have the opportunity to learn some of the secrets of the coppersmiths.
