After parking the car in Chiapili di Sotto, near the ski-lift or in the surroundings of the picnic area a little bit farther, go ahead along the road leading to Colle del Nivolet, snow-clad in winter and therefore ideal to use skis or snowshoes.
Easy tour developing between the two slopes of upper Orco valley, where you can enjoy a wonderful panorama of the whole valley close to the summits bordering with the French Vanoise Park. Conifer woodlands with a northern exposure, snow-clad grasslands with a southern exposure, summits, valleys, and glaciers all around offer one of the greatest views of alpine environment in the Park territory. The gentle and long ups and downs of the snow-clad trail give the opportunity to reach Serrù Lake and eventually reach the huts of the dominating summer pasture with the same name from where you can enjoy the panorama and the alpine environment of Orco Valley.
