Lake Pisciotto, destination of the itinerary, is a natural reservoir of modest size, but of great naturalistic interest. It is located in the municipality of Tortorici, at an altitude of 1250 mt. a.s.l.

The area around the lake has undergone valorization and recovery by the Park Authority, in order to preserve the wetlands and the many species of sedentary and migratory birds that inhabit them.
