Spartà Lake is one of the several small wetlands characterizing Nebrodi Park. In the past it was exploited by farmers to make the vane of the mills situated downstream work; today it represents a great richness for the territory, both for its landscape and naturalistic aspects, becoming an instrument promoting the knowledge and safeguard of flora and fauna in the Protected Area.
