Park in Bompensiero, near the "Locanda del Bracconiere". Leaving the restaurant on your left, go straight on and, after 250 mt, at a roundabout, turn right onto an unpaved road (indications for the Oglio river) which heads downhill towards the river, after which turn left. Here skirt the Oglio river that you will find on your right. After 1.5 km, the carriage road becomes a path (on the opposite bank you could see the entrance to the canal from Genivolta): the Nature Reserve of Isola Uccellanda begins.
