From San Martino you can leave on foot taking trail no. 368 first and then no. 352 up to Malga Tognola. You can also reach the latter with a chair lift. From here take trail no. 9 leading to Forcella Scanaiol at 2,093 meters, across pastures. From the saddle you will enjoy a wonderful panorama over Pale di San Martino. Going back, it is possible to take trail no. 350 leading to Calaita Lake. A bus service will lead you to Fiera di Primiero.
