Linee guida per lo sviluppo turistico del Parco del Partenio
The publication "Linee guida per lo sviluppo turistico del Parco del
Partenio" aims at outlining the tourist offer system of Partenio
Regional Park, linking it fruitfully to the current and potential
tourist demand and finding out, as a consequence, the qualification,
enhancement, and innovation measures to implement in the short and
medium term, in synergy with the local actors. The document has the
double aim to outline a series of measures considering on the one side
the need to attract - and manage - the tourist flow from Campania, and
on the other side the opportunity to address also the broader
extra-regional market, promoting a sustainable growth of the economic
activities and incomes generated at a local level.
The need to
combine resources in order to promote and enhance the excellent local
features that cannot express their potentialities was born from the
thorough observation of the territorial system. In the geography of
protected areas of Campania, Partenio Park distinguishes itself for
being a real "green" lung situated near a congested urban area like the
town of Naples. Therefore, it represents a belt (or a barrier) between
one of the Italian towns with the highest urban density and the less
congested areas of Sannio and Irpinia. The Park heritage must be
promoted, not only as far as environmental and cultural resources, but
also as far as rural resources are concerned. Consider for instance the
wine and gastronomy products, characterized by the presence of several
high-quality "traditional" products that find it difficult to gain a
good place in broader markets, although they are very appreciated.
The
tourist development guidelines are the result of a strict survey on the
social, economic, and territorial features characterizing the Park
area, highlighting the ongoing projects. Such analysis has represented
the departure point for the establishment of a series of strategic
measures based on strong and well-founded concepts.
