Parco regionale del Partenio

The idea of a collection of rules of Partenio Regional Park Authority was born from the need to provide the recently established Authority with a systematic and coherent collection of rules. As a matter of fact, having an institutional role, the Park should not only aim at the respect of the environmental rules, but also at their diffusion. The addressee of this activity are both local citizens and enterprises, as well as all the organizations that, for the role they play and/or the activity they carry out, must be constantly updated on these issues.
The continuous evolution of the rules, both at a Community and national level, together with the temporariness of the "safeguard rules" bound to be shortly replaced by the approval of the "Park Plan", could deter from starting a long-term work.
The volume has not the ambition to be comprehensive, but aims at touching the crux of the Park-System.
The volume would like to be an easy instrument for the above-mentioned subjects and for those who will be in charge of the Legal Desk of Partenio Regional Park: as a matter of fact, in it they will find a collection of rules easy to consult.
As far as protected areas are concerned, this work examines the outline act of the State n. 394 of 1991 and the rules according to which the Regional Parks of Campania have been established and managed, also considering the recent changes to art. 17 of the Regional Law n. 1 of 2008; moreover, it examines the organization structure of Partenio Regional Park and the governance instruments it needs.
In particular, it examines the environmental information, the landscape and environmental restrictions - according to the recent changes to the cultural and landscape heritage code by d.lvi 62 and 63 of 26.03.2008 - the protection of flora and fauna, building and urban planning, the extraction activities in quarries and peat bogs, and the safeguard of the woodlands, considering the worsening of the wood fire problem in the latest years.
