The itinerary corresponds to the northern trail up to "Bivio di S. Maurizio", where you will leave the asphalt road and take on the left the dirt road leading to the chestnut tree woodland. Once you get to "Piano di S. Maurizio", where in the past "Castello Inferiore" was situated, the trails becomes suddenly narrow and starts climbing the slope by running along the ancient walls of the eastern slope. After a steep stretch, the trail turns right and becomes almost entirely flat. Avoid the left track. Go along the lower side of "Sedum hirsutum" Reserve (entrance is not allowed) and go ahead until you get to the asphalt pedestrian road near "Roca nera". Go along the uphill road for about twenty meters and take the dirt road on the right up to a crossroads; take the trail on the right leading to the panoramic site "Mori'd Crin". Go ahead, and on the left you will see the traces of the western medieval walls. After about 100 meters, and before reaching the carriage road of the southern slope, leave the large trail and turn suddenly left by following a narrow and steep trail shortly leading to Vetta recreational area.
