The richness of Sirente Velino Regional Park lies not only in its nature, but also in its rich heritage of history, culture, and traditions inherited by a past which has contributed to define the identity of this territory and its community, and whose signs are still well-preserved and evident.
A passage and connection area between the Adriatic Sea and the Tyrrheanian Sea, the Park has been settled since ancient times, as it is demonstrated by the several archaeological finds scattered throughout the territory.
