Parco Agricolo Sud Milano

During five centuries, the territory of the lower area of the Province of Milan has suffered sieges and battles whose signs are still evident in the fortifications on which the essay by Cristina Ricci focuses, the sixth publication of the series "Fonti e studi del territorio Basso Milanese".
The volume aims at contributing to a better understanding of the complex historical stratification of the countryside within the functions of landscape-environmental safeguard and recovery representing for the Province and its Park a series of goals to pursue.
