The non-stop flowing of the water characterizes Ticino Park in all its length: water free to run in its natural riverbed, water conveyed in canals as ancient and precious way of communication and transport.
The channeling works of the waters of Ticino represented in the past an important economic resource for the territory of Lombardy and they have become, in present times, a feature of great cultural and naturalistic value.
This volume, born from the enthusiasm and intellectual liveliness of Rotary Club Corsico Naviglio Grande and Rotary Club Abbiategrasso, aims at collecting the history, the curiosity, and the naturalistic features linked to Naviglio di Bereguardo, favoring the knowledge of one of the most representative environments of our Park.
