| This reserve is characterized by many different natural environments: it is a real "mosaic" of vegetation which, among its "tesserae" has the ilex tree wood, the cork oak tree, the wood of deciduous oaks, the Turkey oak wood, shrub and bush formations, rocky and semi-rocky areas, wetlands (rivers and lakes), grasslands and garigue where cattle grazes. This great diversity of environments leads to a very rich series of living species: there are over 1,000 vegetal species. |
