Riserva Naturale della Foce dell'Isonzo

Asparaguses are a characteristic product of Fossalon, a country hamlet of Grado. They are cultivated on reclaimed lands. They are usually combined with eggs and with fish. Between late April and early May, a Festival is held: it represents an important moment to taste the product and to introduce the agricultural activities. The local asparagus, thanks to its top-quality, is conquering the palates of tourists, above all foreign tourists.
