The trail begins as a branch of the trail A between Colle Piano and Colle delle Travi if you come from Tivoli by turning left towards the north-west. You enter the wood and, after a short stretch, you get to a second junction where both directions are marked with the same color, white-yellow. You can go through alternative trails meeting in the geographical and tourist heart of the Nature Reserve, where there are the busiest picnic ares.
If you keep on the left, go straight on to Colle Lecinone. If you turn right, you will get to a picnic area equipped with tables, wooden benches and places to light fires; after crossing the area you can go along a short dirt road and find again the main trail.
