Riserva Speciale del Sacro Monte di Domodossola

Second publication, after the one dealing with the Sepulcher Chapel, dedicated to the restoration stages of a chapel of Sacro Monte (Sacred Mountain): Chapel XI, dedicated to Jesus nailed to the Cross.
The local officer of Soprintendenza per il Patrimonio Storico Artistico e Demoantropologico Marina Dell'Omo and the restorer Tiziana Carbonati, who worked in the chapel, explain in the volume the problems they faced during the various restoration stages and the most adequate solutions they adopted to give back to the public one of the most beautiful chapels of Sacro Monte.
The restoration works lasted two years (2005-2007) and were supported by Regione Piemonte, Compagnia di San Paolo, and Provincia del Verbano Cusio Ossola.
