Follow the itinerary no. 1 up to the chapel of Maris; here, leave the asphalt road and turn right up to the country hamlet Motto to go ahead on a comfortable trail up to another country hamlet called Croppo, with chapel and fountain. Follow the asphalt road which, going beyond the rio di Andosso and the country hamlet Asparedo, leads to Vagna, the ancient Auania or Vania. The parish church and its bell tower, dating back before the 14th century and dedicated to S.Brizio, are of Romanesque style. There is a great view over the alluvial plain where Domodossola and the mountains surrounding it from the north to the east are situated. Going down the asphalt road you get to the crossroads indicating the uphill road to Zoncalina and Premone; when you arrive at the end of the asphalt road, there are three trails: take the one on the left (where a little chapel renovated in 1941 is situated). You will reach in this way a recently renovated building; from here follow the asphalt road up to the chapel, and go down on the left on the before-mentioned mule track; or, follow the road leading to the Roccolo and going along the cemetery of Crosiggia to reach the departure point.
