The volume is dedicated to the Chapel of the Crucifixion by Gaudenzio Ferrari, the greatest artist of the Renaissance of Piedmont. It is analyzed from different points of view: art, success with the critics, production of historical, religious, and devotional guidebooks, and recent restoration works.
