Following the route of Sacro Monte beyond the area of Vallone dell'Inferno wood, housing the most ancient chapels, the setting changes: among the cobbled paths and the box hedges trimmed with particular shapes ideally recalling the Sacro Monte planned by Galeazzo Alessi, you will find chapels characterized by more refined architectures of late Renaissance taste (from the chapel of The Baptism of Christ (c.12), to the chapel of Jesus' Entrance into Jerusalem, c.19).
