From the tales linked to World War II to the ancient professions, from moving personal tales to the reconstruction of the rural economy of the past century to the analysis of other cultural elements like religion, traditional medicine, and ever-changing natural environments, today preserved in Nazzano Tevere-Farfa Regional Nature Reserve. These are the main issues of this volume, recovered from the memories of 25 elderly persons of the Municipalities of Montopoli di Sabina, Nazzano, and Torrita Tiberina.
