The Visitor Center is situated along the road leading from Grado to Fossalon. Inaugurated on 23rd March 2002, it is provided with car park for the visitors and rest areas. Moreover, it is connected with the town of Grado through a 6 km long cycling track and to Caneo naturalistic location for further 7 km.

The interior of the building, with educational, popular and scientific aims, was completely modernized in 2018. The entrance was made more spacious and the lighting improved using LED lights. The main hall has been equipped with large spaces dedicated to teaching. Along the walls, covered with swamp straw in order to simulate a typical lagoon environment, there are loopholes through which you could see videos in high definition that depict the life of many species of mammals and birds, particularly representative of the area. At the back of the room a promotional video of the nature reserve is shown, along with other educational videos on the lagoon flora and fauna.

The small room has been completely redesigned and houses the reproduction of a typical lagoon house, containing original furnishings such as fishing nets, decorations and furniture. In this room a high definition video is shown on the activity of the valliculture, historical anthropic activity practiced in the area of the Nature Reserve until its establishment in 1996.

The nature reserve organizes visits by previous booking
