Prato Biscuits

Prato Biscuits are obtained by transversally cutting pieces of dough filled with whole almonds (about 20%) and pine nuts (about 2%). The resulting biscuits are crisp and golden-brown outside; laterally, where they are cut, you can see the almonds characterizing their aspect. They are crunchy and their taste is characterized by the almonds with which they have been filled.
