Sacro Monte di Belmonte Special Nature Reserve
- How to get to the Sanctuary through the SP road 42:
From
Turin take SS 460 towards Ceresole Reale which
through Leinì reaches Rivarolo Canavese and go ahead up to Cuorgnè;
then take SP 42 towards the Sanctuary of Belmonte.
The stretch Turin-Cuorgnè can be also gone through by bus
and railways SATTI; the tickets and the timetables can be found in
the departure station.
- How
to get to the Sanctuary through the itinerary - "Antica via pedonale
dei tabernacoli" (also called "Percorso del Pellegrino" - Valperga):
From Turin take SS 460 towards Ceresole Reale which
through Leinì reaches Rivarolo Canavese and goes on up to Valperga. The
stretch Turin - Valperga can be also gone through by bus
and railways SATTI.
The tickets and the timetables can be found in the departure station.
In Valperga, reach the Parish Church from where the above-mentioned itinerary leaves (on foot).
Monti Pelati e Torre Cives Nature Reserve
- How to get to the Reserve from loc. Bettolino:
From
Turin take SS 460 which across Leinì reaches
Rivarolo canavese, then follow the indications to Ivrea towards SS
565 and turn left in the direction of Baldissero Canavese; at the
crossroads near a Cemetery turn left towards the above-mentioned
location. Turn right at the crossroads in the direction of Valchiusella
in loc. Bettolino and after about 100 meters turn left in Via
Vespiolla. From here, follow the indications described in the itineraries pages (on foot).
- How to get to the Reserve from loc. Vespia:
From the above-mentioned loc. Bettolino go ahead on SP 61 Baldissero - Vidracco - Issiglio.
In loc. Vespia turn left on the town road Via Baldissero, and
you will find the indication for the climbing of the Torre Cives.
Go beyond an equipped area, and on the left you will reach the Chapel
dedicated to San Rocco. Here there is a parking where you must leave
the car.
After the barrier, vehicles are not admitted, and you can reach the
second equipped area with water and electric light on the summit where
the 15th century Tower of Mt. Cives is situated. You can get here by
following a beautiful and easy path, also by mountain bike.

- How to get to Vauda Documentation and Visitor Center - Via Chiara, 22:
From
Turin take SP road 13 Caselle - S. Maurizio – San
Francesco al Campo - Cuorgnè in the direction of Palazzo Grosso. In
Palazzo Grosso take the S.C. - Via Lotti.
Take SP 21 Ciriè - San Carlo - Vauda on the right.
When you get to Vauda, follow the road towards via Castagneri, go
beyond the Church square, and you will get to via Chiara.
